Despite the ongoing challenges that the Covid-19 pandemic has presented, the College has proudly continued to serve and protect the public interest by regulating the profession of dental technology. The College has continued to successfully carry out its various programs, projects, and initiatives guided by our 2018-2022 Strategic Plan.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic the College in collaboration with Ontario’s oral health colleges provided RDTs with a comprehensive COVID-19 Return to Practice Guidance.This Guidance has allowed the public to safely receive the services of Registered Dental Technologists (RDTs). We appreciate the continued care and dedication to public health that RDTs have continued to demonstrate throughout the pandemic.
Regulation is never done in isolation and, in that spirit, we would like to thank our stakeholders and system partners for their continued support. We would also like to thank the Council and College staff for their continued hard work to carry out our mandate during this challenging time.
