The College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO) will be developing a new Strategic Plan beginning in 2023. This plan will inform how we fulfill our statutory obligations and set priorities for non-statutory work, such as projects and other important initiatives. The Strategic Plan will aim to fulfill the College’s mandate of protecting and serving the public’s interest.

Our 2018-2022 Strategic Plan is in its final year of implementation. It is now a good time to reflect on our priorities, and the work we have done to date and look forward.

The following survey asks about your perspectives on what the CDTO should prioritize in the coming years as it relates to our strategic objectives. We invite views from Ontario Registered Dental Technologists (RDTs), stakeholder organizations, and members of the public. Final decisions related to the upcoming Strategic Plan will be made by the College’s leadership team and Council. We will carefully consider your perspectives, which are important in helping the College fulfill its vision, mandate, and objectives.

The survey questions are in two parts, Part 1: diversity and demographic information will allow us to build a more accurate picture of our respondents in Ontario.

Part 2 asks some questions that are specific to our current and potential future strategic challenges as a provincial regulator.  This is the most important part of the survey and your input is important to us.

Your responses will be anonymous and used to inform internal strategic planning for the College. The survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes and the deadline to complete the survey is November 17, 2022. If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please reach out to info@cdto.ca.
