The COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges for both people and society. The Quality Assurance (QA) Committee recognizes that many planned professional development activities have been cancelled or postponed.
Registrants are required to complete 90 credits every three-years and ideally proportionately across this period. Many suppliers, governmental organizations and health professional associations are now providing their resources online. Please see a few of the available resources below and reference the College’s Continuing Professional Development Guidelines for the credit equivalent:
CDTO and ADTO Town Hall on Return to Practice
Webinar on COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Control for Regulated Health Professionals
Public Health Ontario – Learning Modules on Infection Prevention and Control
The QA Committee would also like to offer an opportunity to earn up to 15 credits. There are three short surveys below that are worth 5 credits each. The surveys will collect information about dental technology practice and the QA Program to support future College initiatives. These surveys will be available until August 31, 2020. You will be required to provide your name and registration number when completing the survey. However, you should also take a screenshot of the survey completion page for your records.
