As per CDTO’s Quality Assurance Program, all RDTs must participate in a three-year Professional Development (PD) reporting cycle. This mandatory requirement ensures that registrants maintain the level of knowledge, skill, and judgment necessary to practice the profession in accordance with the Standards, Regulations, and Code of Ethics.
To maintain your professional standing and support excellence in practice, please ensure your submission meets the following criteria:
• Reporting Period: All CPD activities must have been completed between September 1, 2023, and August 31, 2026.
• Digital Format Only: Submissions must be made using the Digital pdf fillable form. Click here to access the form.
Please note that handwritten copies will not be accepted.
• Deadline: Ensure your completed form is submitted by August 31, 2026, to avoid a late notice fee.
Completed forms should be emailed to qa@cdto.ca. Should you have any questions, the Quality Assurance department is here to assist you.
About Professional Development (PD)
Under CDTO’s Quality Assurance Program, all registrants must participate every two years in self-assessment and professional development activities in order to maintain the knowledge, skill and judgment required to practise the profession in accordance with the Standards and Regulations for Registered Psychotherapists and CDTO’s Code of Ethics.
Registrants are required to complete their self-assessment and professional development activities every two years by December 31. This two-year cycle is referred to as a “PD reporting cycle.”
