The CDTO has published its 2024–2025 Annual Report, highlighting the College’s work to protect the public interest by setting and enforcing ethical and professional standards for RDTs in Ontario.

This year’s report outlines progress under CDTO’s 2024–2027 Strategic Plan, including the use of key performance indicators to strengthen accountability and support continuous improvement. The report provides updates across CDTO’s full regulatory mandate, including the work of the Executive, Registration, ICRC, Quality Assurance, Discipline, Patient Relations, Practice Advisory, Recruitment, and By-Laws & Policy Review committees.

Highlights from 2024–2025 include:

  • Reducing barriers to registration, including lowering application and Jurisprudence & Ethics exam fees for 2025–2026
  • Launching a PLAR Pilot to support fair pathways for internationally educated professionals
  • Advancing EDI initiatives and governance modernization to support effective, transparent regulation
