Applicants applying for the 2019 CDTO Registration Examinations must provide all application requirements by the posted deadlines to be eligible for the 2019 Registration Examination session.
The successful completion of the CDTO Registration Examinations is one of the non-exemptible requirements for registration.

NOTE: This online application is not available to Repeating examination candidates. Repeating examination candidates must contact the College for a 2019 Registration Examination Application.
Step 1
1. Click APPLY NOW to begin your application:
- Select: New Applicant? Apply Now.
- Enter your email address. Important: Use a private email address that is accessible only to you that you use or intend to use for communication with CDTO. Your communications address information will be used by the College to contact you.
- You will be sent a temporary password to continue with setting up your online Application self-service account.
- You will be required to setup three security questions and a password.
2. Complete the following:
- Application Route
- Personal Information
- Home Address
- Communication Addresses
- Professional History
- Education Details
- Declarations
- Payment of the non-refundable Application Evaluation & Processing Fee ($266). Refer to Schedule 5 of CDTO By-laws for the most up-to-date fees.
3. Don’t forget to logout once you see the submitted successfully screen.
CDTO Staff will review your application submission (Step 1) for completeness and will send you further application instructions via email to your communications email address.
DEADLINE TO COMPLETE STEP 1: MARCH 25, 2019
Step 2
1. Sign into your online Application self-service account by entering your Communications email and password (set in Step 1).
2. Complete the Declarations and Payment of the balance of Examination Fees. Refer to the CDTO By-laws for the most up-to-date fees (Schedule 5).
3. Don’t forget to logout once you see the submitted successfully screen.
CDTO Staff will review your application submission (Step 2) and will send your further examination information.
Your personalized Examination Schedule and Information will be posted in your Applicant self-service account during the week of May 20th. Registered Examination Candidates will be invited to attend a briefing session at the practical examination site on Friday, May 24th, 2019 from 2:00-4:00 pm.
Note: Applicants requesting Examination Accommodation must provide all forms and supporting documents to the CDTO by March 31, 2019.
