Peer Circles provide an ideal environment for inter-professional communication and collaboration that ultimately benefit patient care. Join us at Spectrum Day to discuss interesting and challenging scenarios experienced in the dental technology profession today.
RDTs can earn 20 Continuing Education (CE) credits by attending Spectrum Day and six one-hour courses. In addition every RDT that attends the one-hour Peer Circle from 9am – 10 am will earn a bonus of 5 CE credits!
Peer Circles
Through facilitated discussion explore problem-solving strategies with your peers that can assist you in navigating these challenges. Each Peer Circle will involve 8 – 10 RDTs, supervisors, dental lab associates, students, lab owners and a trained group facilitator, who is also a practicing dental technologist.
Objectives:
- Participate in case discussions
- Explore problem-solving strategies that may help to manage current cases
- Meet other dental technologists with similar challenges and discover alternate outcomes
Here are the topics that may be discussed for the upcoming Peer Circles:
Topic 1: The top 3 risks faced in the dental laboratory.
Topic 2: The qualities or skill sets lab owners, RDTs or supervisors look for in a new or existing hire for promotion.
